Allows Alchemist classes to brew an item available from the Creation Guides the user is carrying. Each cast consumes a Medicine Bowl.

Formula: Success Rate = (Lvl of Learning Potion) + (Lvl of Pharmacy * 3) + (Lvl of Instruction Change) + (Job Lvl × 0.2) + (DEX × 0.1) + (LUK × 0.1) + (INT × 0.05) + (Potion Rate %)

Potions

Manuals are items needed to create potions. They can be purchased from the Alchemist Guild in Aldebaran or in the Item Mall. Except for the Elemental Potion Creation Guide, which is obtained through a quest.

Potion Materials Hunting Guide

• Red Herb : Best from Familiar (Payon Caves) or Red Plant.
• Yellow Herb : Best from Bongun (Payon Caves) or Yellow Plant.
• White Herb : Best from Ghoul (Glast Heim ST. Abbey & Churchyard), White Plant, Blazer and Lava Golem in Magma Dungeon.
• Blue Herb : Found throughout Rune-Midgard, mainly through Blue Plant, Goat or Nightmare.
• Alcohol : Low drop from Mushroom and a few other monsters. Mostly created using Pharmacy or Change Material
• Stem : Mandragora (North of Geffen) and Flora (Geffen and Comodo Field).
• Poison Spore : Poison Spore (Geffen Field).
• Cactus Needle : Muka (two South of Prontera).
• Mole Whiskers : Martin (upper two levels of Einbech Mine Dungeon).
• Witch Starsand : Bathory (Clock Tower Basement Level 4).
• Fabric : Whisper (Glast Heim or Sunken Ship level 1)
• Maneater Blossom : Geographer (Yuno Fields) or Flora.
• Tendon : Marine Sphere (Izlude Dungeon Level 3 and Level 4).
• Detonator : Marine Sphere (Izlude Dungeon Level 3 and Level 4).
• Immortal Heart : Verit (Pyramid).
• Zenorc Fang : Zenorc (Orc Dungeon Level 2).

• Medicine Bowl : Found in the Alchemist Guild in Southwest Al De Baran or in the Item Mall.
• Empty Bottle : Found in most Tool Dealer in any town map.
• Red Potion : Found in any Tool Dealer in any town map.
• Yellow Potion : Found in any Tool Dealer in any town map.
• White Potion : Found in any Tool Dealer in any town map.

Fame System

For Brewers there is a system in which players are ranked based on who can create the most potions. Fame points don't depreciate for now.

• Rank Point +1: 3 Any Potion/s created without failure in a row.
• Rank Point +3: 5 Any Potion/s created without failure in a row.
• Rank Point +10: 7 Any Potion/s created without failure in a row.
• Rank Point +50: 10 Any Potion/s created without failure in a row.

Alchemist ranks can be checked via usage of the "/alchemist" command in-game. Potions made by an Alchemist Player who is in the top 10 list will receive a 50% bonus to their potency. This does not apply to potions used via Potion Pitcher or Slim Potion Pitcher.
