Overview

Very similar to the Crusader's Grand Cross, calls down the wrath of God's messenger from the sky to deal holy element damage to all targets in a 5 cell radius using Physical and Magical attack. Requires two or more Royal Guards in Banding. The damage is increased by the number of Banding Royal Guards and sacrifices a portion of the user's HP. When used on Undead or Demon monsters, has a 50% chance of causing Blind.

Mechanics

  • If used on Inspiration status, Royal Guards in Banding are not required.
  • The Physical portion of damage can miss if the targets flee is high enough.
  • Both hits of Genesis Ray can be blocked by the following skills: Guard, Hiding, Prestige (Magical portion only).

Damage Formula: Physical + Magical

  • Physical: ATK [{(Skill Level * 300) + 300} * (Base Level / 100)] %
  • Magical: MATK [{(Skill Level * 300) + (Banding Royal Guards * 200)} * (Job Level / 25)]
