Overview

Tala wants a pet but her grandmother is allergic to animal fur. She heard about a cute kitty made from bones, the Skelion. She needs your help to find it!
Embark on a journey to find this skeleton pet and its creator.
(This quest is available permanently, with the exception of the costume reward that is only available during Halloween Event)

Steps

• In Port Malaya, talk to Anxious Girl, she wants a kitty made from bones. Sinag told her about it.

• Find Spiritspeaker south-east of where you are. Listen to his story about Darius Kaplon, the creator of the Skelion.

• Go to the Geffen's Magician Academy north-west of Geffen, and talk to the Archivist there. He will look for Darius' records, and suggests you look for his old mentor Gustav Hedlund.

• Find the Retired Scholar at the Geffen Inn (once inside, go through the first portal to the right, and then up the stairs). He tells you to look for his old friend Horst.

• Go to the Yuno Academy of Sages at the north-west corner of Yuno. Enter the first corridor to your right (north) and talk to the Head Sage in front of the bookshelf.

• Talk to Eccentric Man in Umbala. You found him! Darius suggests fixing his divination urn in order to locate the Skelion.

• Help him by gathering:

600 Mud Lump

100 Black Powder

1 Evil Bone Wand

• He needs to fill the urn with undead energy so he gives it to you and tasks you with destroying:

10 Chief Necromancer
10 Swift Zombie Slaughter
10 Fur. Skeleton General

• It is not enough so he asks you to destroy stronger enemies:

1 Drake
1 Osiris
1 Dark Lord

• The urn is ready but he forgot the most important item. He needs something that belonged to the subject. He suggests asking Sinag for the Skelion's Claw.

• Go back to the Spiritspeaker and ask for the claw.

• Return to Darius and he will attempt to use the urn. He conjures what appears to be a snake. The snake tells you the whereabouts of the Skelion.

• Find the Skelion near a grave in Nifelheim Fields. Through gestures, you learn that it does not want to become the little girl's pet, but it suggests making an animated toy for her.

• Go back to Darius and he will help convince his sister to make the toy for Tala.

• Talk to Adelaide and she will agree to help. In order to make the toy, she will need some materials.

• Bring her:

250 Soft Silk

250 Spool

250 Soft Feather

2 Glass Bead

• Deliver the toy to Tala in Port Malaya.

• Report back to the Skelion. It decides to join you! You receive:

1 Skelion's Garden

• As a Halloween Event special reward, you also receive:

1 Costume: Phantom of Masquerade

• Visit the siblings once more to conclude your journey.

Extras

• Adelaide suggests making a faux mane for Skelion if he is with you. For it, she will need:

300 Golden Hair

300 Fur

3 Black Dyestuffs

• Hand her the materials and you will receive:

1 Dark Mane

(Skelion's Pet Accessory)

• If you grabbed the Skelion's Claw from the snake in the urn, return it to Sinag and he will give you:

1 Elixir of Shadows

• The Bound Spirit next to Sinag does actually have a hidden message, but perhaps only a select few will understand...
