Overview

This episode was released on LeikaRO in the June 5th Megapatch. It features content in the Ash Vacuum where players can challenge Satan Morroc once again.

This new content is aimed at players who are at the end-game stage. Most of the quests require players to be level 160 or higher to start and the maps are designed for players at level 140 and higher.

Background & Lore

It was a battle in the blistering Sograt desert. Satan Morroc roared, seething as a group of adventurers attempted to bring the Jotunn down. He was on the edge of defeat. But they wouldn't have him yet. Not like this. Using some of his remaining power, he tore a hole in reality itself and fled. The Jotunn had vanished. The hole he created, however, remained. Explorers, soldiers, adventurers, and officials from all over Midgard ventured forth into the unknown lands beyond and came upon what they called the Ash Vacuum. They searched high and low for Satan Morroc but could not find him. Many believe he simply disappeared forever and their problems had been solved.

They were wrong.

Satan Morroc, licking his wounds, came upon an area just as scorching, if not worse, than the Sograt Desert. It reminded him so much of Muspelheim, where he had gathered Fire Jotunn against Odin so many years ago. Everything was ash, dust, and smoke. The very ground seemed to melt beneath him. There were no signs of life. Not even a single tree was growing. Satan Morroc grinned. This would be the place he rebuilt. This would be the capitol of his new empire.

He laid himself down upon the molten earth. His very essence tainted the ground around him, seeping out like a festering disease. His blood pooled in waterfalls and rivers. His bones gnawed into the dark, rocky mountains. His scales dug into the earth and grew bleak forests.

Adventurers and explorers eventually came upon the territory that Satan Morroc had carved for himself and made fit to his liking. They dubbed it the Flame Basin for its ever-burning appearance. It had been thought that nothing would be able to grow in this dead fire pit. But Satan Morroc proved otherwise, as he had turned it into a breeding ground for vile demonic creatures.
