Steps
- Find the Collapsed Man in Morroc (/navi morocc 138/238). Help him wake up and then feed him a Monster's Feed. He will present himself as Tamarin and ask you about a place where he could take a bath, tell him about the nearby oasis.
- Meet Tamarin at the oasis (/navi moc_ruins 106/140). Listen to his story and agree to meet him in the Dimensional Gap.
- Speak to Tamarin in the Dimensional Gap (/navi dali 104/73). He asks you to find the Crack through which he and his party descended.
- The Crack is located on the second level of the Dimensional Gap (/navi dali02 84/58), move through it to the Fire Basin, Tamarin will follow you.
- Once there, speak to Tamarin again (/navi moro_vol 132/140), Bazett Tiblack will interfere, shouting at you two.
- Speak to Bazett Tiblack (/navi moro_vol 142/131), he will put you to work, first you must hunt 20 Fulbuks and collect 20 Fire Beetle Shells from them.
- Fulbuks don't spawn normally, you must destroy a Fire Pit to make one appear.
- Fire Beetle Shells are normal drops and thus tradable.
- Once done, Bazett Tiblack asks you to hunt 50 Sonias and gather Yummy Stems. Sonias grow across the perimeter of Fire Basin and you may speak to Tamarin near the entrance to the Fire Cave (/navi moro_vol 199/182) to ease your job, if you bring him 25 Yummy Stems, he will give you the remaining 25.
- Yummy Stems only drop if you're on this step of the quest, everyone in the party who's also doing this quest, will receive a Yummy Stem by a chance upon every kill.
- Return to Bazett Tiblack with the Yummy Stems, he asks you to deliver them to Instructor Rugen, just southwest (/navi moro_vol 105/71).
- Instructor Rugen will ask you to feed the Yummy Stems to the Intoxicated Patient, right next to him. Then speak to Instructor Rugen again.
- Report the success to Bazett Tiblack, who will now allow you to enter the Fire Cave and thus access the new instances. Completing this quest will also enable you to teleport directly to Fire Basin through Sylph Cartographer or the portal in Eclage
- You will receive 22,500,000 Job Experience for completing this quest.
