Overview
Creates various kinds of bombs out of fruit. The Geneticist needs to have a Bomb Creation Manual in order to create any bombs, which can be bought from Alchemist Union Member (alde_alche 35,186) on the first floor of the Alchemist job change building or the Item Mall.
Level 1 of the skill requires 1 set of ingredients. Level 2 of the skill requires 10 sets of ingredients.
Success Rate
Success rate compares two values: creation and difficulty.
Creation:
(JobLv ÷ 4) + (DEX ÷ 3) + (LUK ÷ 2)
Difficulty:
Random(30, 150) + ItemRate
If creation is higher than difficulty, the process was a success. If creation is lower than difficulty, the process was a failure.
Success rates for created items are applied for each set of ingredients. So if you have 10 sets of ingredients for a bomb and fail during the process, you can potentially make 4 bombs and 6 black lumps, instead of 10 black lumps because of the failure.
For Level 2:
- If Creation > Difficulty by at least 30, 10~12 bombs are created.
- If Creation > Difficulty by at least 10, 10 bombs are created.
- If Creation < Difficulty by exactly 10, 8 bombs are created.
- If Creation < Difficulty by at least 30, 5 bombs are created.
- If Creation < Difficulty by at least 50, the creation fails.
